Ronnie O’Gene Loyall, 80, passed away peacefully in his home. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
He was born on 1/10/1945 to the late Johnny Raymond and Ruthann Despain Loyall. He had 10 siblings.
He moved to IL and married Sharon Allgood Loyall, and the couple built a beautiful family together: Bobby Gene, Scotty Gene, and Brad Allen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, loving first wife Sharon, sons Bobby and Scotty, and all of his siblings.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Della Loyall, son Brad (Jolina) Travis Joe (Tena), Jessica Gowen, and his favorite dog, Buddy Gene. He was blessed with many beautiful and cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren to honor his legacy.
He loved Jesus, his country, watching races, baseball, basketball, and football. He enjoyed gardening and took pride in growing the biggest and arguably most delicious vegetables in all of Taylor County. His beautiful blue eyes and warm smile, confidence, and jokes will be missed by all fortunate enough to have known him.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, we ask that you donate instead to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Tunnel to Towers, as that would honor him best because of his love for children and our veterans.
Cremation was chosen, and there will be no services at this time.
