Ronald Owens

Ronald Owens of Greensburg, the son of the late William Oren Owens and Geneva Mae Mitchell Owens, was born March 17, 1939 in Lebanon, IN, and departed this life on April 16, 2025 in Campbellsville. He was 86 years of age.

He was of the Christian Faith and was a former employee of Rock Island Gas Refinery. He enjoyed music, and played the Grand Ole Opry, and was the owner and operator of Magie Owens Dance Barn in Elizabethtown. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He is survived by a son, William Owens of Elizabethtown, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Ruby Lantz and Roberta Richardson, both of Lebanon, IN.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Owens, and one son, Ronald Tracy Owens, and one brother, Robert Lee Owens.

Cremation was chosen according to his wishes, and there will be no services.
