Mrs. Robin Jean Munday of Campbellsville passed from this life on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville following an illness. She was born in Marion County on October 29, 1958 and was 67 years of age at the time of her passing. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, working there until it’s closure, and later retiring from Curtis Maruyasu America. She was the devoted wife of Mr. Don Munday, who preceded her in death in 2024.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by two children: Brandy Nicole Bickett and Tony Bickett; her mother: Clarice Hughes; and six siblings: Jimmy Hughes, Joann Nevius, Sueann Spalding, Nadine Thomas, Adeline Shive, and Brenda Hughes Newcomb.
She leaves to cherish her memory:

Two grandsons: Tristan Bickett and Westin Bickett,
A great-grandson: Ezra Anthony Tuttle,
A stepson: Jeff Munday,
A stepdaughter: Tammy Shoemaker,
Five step grandchildren: Hannah Quesenberry and husband Nathan, Rachel Shoemaker, Jake Shoemaker, Nick Munday, and Luke Munday and wife Melony,
Seven siblings: Kathleen Wright, Paulin Buckman and husband Joe Robert, Jody Hughes and wife Margaret, Charles Hughes, Susan Moore, John Hughes, and Mary “Sissy” Hughes.
There will be a graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Munday on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, after 8:30 AM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
