Leonard Guadalupe Salazar of Campbellsville, The son of the late Leonard Salazar and Teresa Marrufo Salazar of Oxnard, CA, was born January 20, 1962, in Santa Paula, CA, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his residence. He was 61 years of age.

He was of the Christian Faith and had worked as a Propulsion Development Mechanic for Aerojet Rocketdyne. He was a member of the Elks Club of Simi Valley, The KY Motorcycle Association, He loved golf, NASCAR, his dogs, and spending time with family.

Besides his mother, Teresa Marrufo Salazar, he is survived by his wife, Cynthia Myers Salazar, having united in marriage on September 13, 2014. 

Also surviving are two children: Trevor Salazar of Las Vegas, NV, and Alexis Mckeown and husband Sean of Ventura, CA.

One sister and two brothers: Nancy Ginn of Nebraska, Johnny Marrufo, and Jonah Salazar both of California.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one son: Steven Beaumont, and one brother, Manuel Medina.

The family has chosen cremation and there will be no services.
