September 20, 1962 – July 31, 2026
Kenneth Ray Jones Jr., of Campbellsville, the son of the late Kenneth Ray Jones Sr. and Dorothy Franke Jones, was born September 20, 1962, in Germany. He departed this life on July 31, 2026, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was 63 years of age.
He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Church, where he previously served as deacon. He enjoyed serving as a Sunday School teacher, working in VBS and playing electric and bass guitar with the praise band at South.
Ken was a former pharmacy technician at Walgreens. He also loved woodworking and playing and snuggling with his dog, Bentley.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Jones.
Survivors include his son: Ian Jones of Lebanon and a sister, Deanna Jolley.
He is also survived by a niece, Isabella Darst, and three nephews: Zachary Jones, Andrew Darst, and Greg Buckles. He also leaves behind his precious dog, Bentley and his cat, Luna.
Celebration of Life- Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 1:00pm at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, with cremation to follow.
Bro. Shaun Caudill will officiate.
Visitation: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, after 11am until time for the service at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to South Church and can be made at the funeral home.
