James Monroe Johnson

James Monroe Johnson of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Grover Johnson and Belva Patrick Johnson, was born on Wednesday, July 10, 1946, and passed away on December 3, 2023, at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was 77 years, 4 months, and 24 days of age.He is survived by four children: Linda Johnson, Lisa Johnson, James Johnson Jr., and Rebecca Johnson all of Ohio; a girlfriend: Debbie Gayheart of Greensburg; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathy Diehl and John Zephyrhillis of Florida, Bessie and Wilburn Bill Turner of North Carolina, Marie and Mel Bachman of Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law: Earl and Carm Johnson of Ohio; 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal services at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
