J. W. Hardin of Raikes Hill Road, Elk Horn, Kentucky son of the Joe H. Hardin and Villa Malone Hardin. He was born April 6,1941 in Louisville, Kentucky. He joined his Lord on July 11, 2026 at the age of 85.
He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Methodist faith. He loved the Lord and loved to worship when he was able.
He was a member of the Merrimac Masonic Lodge. He united in marriage to Linda Richerson Hardin. She preceded him in death August 6, 2012.
He survived by two sisters: Shirley (Frank) Cheatham of Campbellsville Ky, Carole (Tom) Cheatham of Lexington Ky. And a sister in law, Brenda McCauley of Lebanon Ky. Two sons, Jeffery Hardin of Lebanon Ky, Michael Hardin of Elkhorn Ky, Daughter, Lisa (Ernie) Conder of Danville Ky. Two Grandsons; Kyle Hardin of Greensburg Ky, Gage Conder of Danville Ky, Two Granddaughters; Jasalynn and Chloe Richards of Danville Ky and many nieces and nephews.
He also preceded in death by his three brothers; Harold Morris Hardin, Charles H. Hardin and Joseph Michael Hardin.
