Ivan Ray Cundiff of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg, son of the late Clifford Cundiff and Nina Marlow Cundiff, was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1940 in Louisville and departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Louisville. He was 83 years, 8 months, and 28 days of age.
He was a Meter Reader for the Louisville water company, AFSCME local 1683, after retiring he became a Stage Hand for IATSE Local 17. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and served in the United States Army National Guard.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife: Dora Jean Pierce Cundiff on December 1, 2021, having united in marriage on January 2, 1960.
Survivors include five children: Sherri Frech of Louisville, Gregory Cundiff of Campbellsville, Richard Cundiff of Louisville, Robert Cundiff of Lousiville, and Tony Pauline of Louisville; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister: Fay Bond of Mt. Washington; a brother: Steve Cundiff of Shepherdsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Cundiff was also preceded in death by a grandchild: Timothy Ray Cundiff.

Honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be a graveside service held at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors by the Marion County Honor Guard.
