Gertrude Sprowles of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Milburn Hunt and Annnie Arvin Hunt, was born June 30, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:07 A.M., Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in Greensburg. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.
Gertrude united in marriage to Winfred Sprowles January 16, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 4, 2020.
She was a devoted wife and mother who loved gardening and canning. Gertrude also enjoyed cooking, quilting and crocheting.
Gertrude is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Bill Worley of Louisville; special nephew, Keith Sprowles and wife, Donna of Campbellsville; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Gertrude was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: William Edward Hunt, Dale Hunt, Kenneth Hunt, Betty Morrison and Madeline Warf.
