Donna Lynn Dowell

Mrs. Donna Lynn Dowell of Campbellsville, daughter of Chester Norris Lynch and the late Virginia Sue (Viers) Boley, was born in Louisville on December 21, 1964. She departed this life on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the UofL Hospital South in Shepherdsville, being 60 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. Mrs. Dowell was a homemaker. She loved people, especially children, and will long be remembered for her big heart and her many acts of care and compassion towards those less fortunate.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Her father and step-mothers: Chester Lynch and wife Hilda, and Joyce Glass,
Siblings: Christine Bray (Danny), Robert Boley (Amanda), Dana Bray (Billy), and Josh Gouker,
Her children: Donnie Dowell (Brandy), Chad Dowell (Brooklyn), Jessica Dowell (Justin), Daniel Wright (Jessica), Nick Wright (CJ), and many other chosen children,
Grandchildren: Landon, Izaiah, Cheyenne, River, Gracie, and Lacey,

And a host of other family members and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Check Lynch, Jr., and a sister, Melissa Herron.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Dowell on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville. She will be laid to rest in the Callahan Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 7, after 10:00 AM.
