David Allen Smothers

David Allen Smothers, of Greensburg, KY, the son of the late David and Phyllis Ann (Followell) Smothers, was born February 27, 1955, in Lebanon, KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his home. He was 70 years of age.

He was a former truck driver and a member of Mannsville Christian Church.

He enjoyed online simulation racing, woodworking, and was a craftsman and could fix anything mechanical.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Dillenger; a sister, Benita Curry, and husband Wallace of Greensburg.

Also two grandchildren: Serena and Sienna; nephew: Brian Curry and wife Misty; great-niece: Bella; two aunts: Ivana Cox and Dorine Wilkerson and husband Bryant.

The funeral service for David Allen Smothers will be on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Bro. Fella Wilson will be officiating.

Interment in the Green River Memorial Cemetery

Visitation will begin after 12:00 Noon EST on Friday until the time of the service.
