Betty Jean Rodgers Vaughn

Betty Jean Rodgers Vaughn of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Richard Rodgers and Rebecca Mae Beams Rodgers, was born on Friday, April 13, 1956 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was 70 years, 3 months, and 17 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith and was baptized at Summersville Baptist Church. She had previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Green Hill Manor.

She was united in marriage to Jack Milton Vaughn on July 19, 1975, who preceded her in death on December 7, 2022.

She is survived by her daughter: Kristen Mann of Greensburg, and her companion, Chris Gammons; three grandchildren and their companions: Michael Heath and Breanna Wheeler, Shawn Heath and Brooke Clark, Abby Mann all of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren: Truman Heath and Wylder Heath both of Greensburg; a brother: Mike Rodgers of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Betty Jean Rodgers Vaughn will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green County Memory Gardens.

Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday at the funeral home until time of the service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund which can be made at the funeral home or online.
