Andy Tucker Gumm was born August 2, 1984, in Taylor County, KY to Billy Joe and Sheila Tucker Gumm of Greensburg. He departed this life Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Greensburg, KY, having attained the age of forty-one years, eleven months and seven days.
His greatest joy in life was being “Papaw” to Lena and being McKynzee’s dad. He loved his family, music and vintage shopping. He played the drums and was a part time DJ. He worked in Software Management in customer service. He was a 2003 Green County High School Graduate.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Talmadge Tucker and William Gumm, his great grandmothers Ruth Rodgers and Gaynell Figg, his aunt: Debbie McCullough
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: McKynzee and Jacob Scott, granddaughter: Lena Belle Scott, parents: Billy Joe and Sheila Tucker Gumm, one sister: Neely Gumm, grandmothers: Reva Nell Tucker and Martha LaVerne Gumm, special aunt: Tammy Gumm, all of Greensburg, his beloved cat, Sugar and grand dog Ruby, plus a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that the funeral service be held PRIVATELY at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial will be in the Gumm Family Cemetery in the Summersville Community of Green County.
Expressions of sympathy may be donations to Lena’s savings account. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
