Juanita Joyce Skaggs

September 30, 1937  –  June 25, 2026

Juanita Joyce Skaggs, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late John William Warren and Ida Jane Oakes Warren, was born September 30, 1937, in Taylor County, KY, and departed this life on June 25, 2026, in Campbellsville. She was 88 years of age.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Buffalo Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Brown & Williamson. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, porch sitting, and watching the hummingbirds.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Skaggs, a daughter, Lou Ann Zirnheld, a half-sister, Faye Goodin, a half-brother, Charles Warren, an infant brother, William Warren, and a grandchild, Shannon Brown.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Vera Case (Tyler), Vivian McKenzie (Parker), Dalton Brown (Sarah Ann), Alice McGuffin, and Devon Bates. Six great-grandchildren, Brayden Case, Mason Perkins, Layden Case, Braxten Case, Preston Milby, and Mayzie Milby.

Also, one brother, Donald Ray Warren (Peggy) of Magnolia.

The Funeral Service for Juanita Joyce Skaggs will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.

Bro. Mitch Hedge and Donnie Warren will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
