Three Injured in Maple Road House Fire; One Airlifted to Louisville

The Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched to 597 Maple Road for a reported residential structure fire with possible entrapment.

While units were en route, dispatch confirmed that all occupants had safely exited the residence. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story wood-frame home heavily involved in flames.

Three occupants sustained injuries and required medical attention. One individual was airlifted from the scene by AirEvac 43 to the University of Louisville Hospital, while two others were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital and later transferred to a Louisville facility for further treatment.

Fire crews remained on the scene for approximately three hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
