In the very near future, a new mural will begin commissioning in Downtown Columbia.
The mural is being done by Tezon Mitchell, a student at Lindsey Wilson University.
The mural is being done of Mark Twain and his mother Jane Lampton Clemens, who was born and raised in Columbia.
The mural will be on the side of the Sweat Pea’s Building at the corner of South Reed and Jamestown Street.
The Ross family generously sponsored the mural.
