FRANKLIN Tenn. – June 7, 2024 – Manchester Tank & Equipment Co., a manufacturer of steel and aluminum bow pressure tanks and cylinders for storage and transport of pressurized gas applications announced today it is acquiring the business assets related to the tank refurbishment and tank recertification business of Ditch Testing, a Canadian company. The transaction will be completed by month end.
In 1997, Dan Leblanc founded Ditch with a drive to provide exceptional service to the liquid petroleum industry in North America. For over 25 years, Ditch has grown its tank refurbishment and recertification operations in New Brunswick and Alberta, Canada. Ditech’s industry-lading innovation and quality complements Manchester Tank’s product offering, brings additional value to its customers and promotes continuous improvement across operations.

Our footprint expands to provide the full product lifecycle – from manufacturing to refurbishment and recertification,” stated Manchester Tank President Jordan de Lima. “The addition of Ditech enables our customers to reduce costs by saving depreciating assets and take advantage of Ditech’s logistics management process, ensuring tanks are recertified on time and arrive seamlessly at their required destination.
