Lindsey Wilson College Events Call Attention To Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Chalk messages on campus sidewalks, ‘Take Back the Night’ help educate campus community.

COLUMBIA, KY. (04/10/2025) Members of the Lindsey Wilson College community took time on Wednesday, April 9, to speak out against sexual assault. Students, faculty and staff wrote messages of hope and support in chalk on campus sidewalks and later attended a “Take Back the Night” event in the Robert D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. The events were part of the college’s efforts to highlight Sexual Assault Awareness Month, which is held annually in April.
