Linda Lea Durham Hall

Linda Lea Durham Hall of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg, daughter of the late Hardin Kelly Durham and Marian M. Tucker Durham, was born on Monday, August 14, 1933 in Greensburg and departed this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at her home. She was 90 years, 11 months, and 16 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a former Girl Scout, Eastern Star, Sunday School Teacher, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, volunteer at the Blood Mobile, and Housewife.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Hall on January 20, 2011, having united in marriage on October 13, 1951.

Survivors include two daughters: Lisa Flack of Louisville and Tracy Barker of Smiths Grove; grandchildren: Marka McKinnon of Chicago, Josh Flack of Louisville, Janice and Edward Price of Greensburg, Carrie and Chris Burgett of Smiths Grove, Bobby G. Barker, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia, John William and Ashley Barker of Magnolia; great-grandchildren: Avry Price, Max Price, Henry Burgett, Bodie Barker, Colby Burgett, Kelcee Burgett; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son: William Todd Hall on April 1, 2020; two brothers: Hardin Hoagland “Ike” Durham and Gordon Kelly Durham.

The Funeral services for Linda Lea Durham Hall will be conducted at 9:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Todd Young officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Greensburg Baptist Church Mission Trip Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
