Joe Harding Wise of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Delmer Wise and Edna Colvin Wise, was born on Saturday, April 26, 1930 in Taylor County and departed this life on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Hospice Health Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. He was 95 years, 2 months, and 6 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Taylors Chapel Church. He retired from General Electric.
Joe was united in marriage to Norma Jean Nelson Wise on December 22, 1949, who preceded him in death on October 26, 2018.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Johnnie and Lee Wise of Campbellsville; a special son: Michael Patric Hall and Cheryl of Green County; three grandchildren: Samantha Aull and Jacob of Owensboro, Joe H. Wise II and Haley of Mannsville, Kimberly Trulock and David of Munfordville; special grandchildren: Sierra Hatfield and Josh of Corbin, Cheyanne Hall of Greensburg; five great-grandchildren: JW Aull, Jaxon Aull both of Owensboro, Jennifer Garmon of Hart County, Rebecca Trulock of Beaver Dam, Joe H. Wise III of Mannsville; great-great grandchild: Raelynn Short of Hart County; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a daughter: Patsy Lile.

The funeral for Joe Harding Wise will be conducted at 1 P.M., Central Time, Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Taylors Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Joe Milby officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Monday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Taylors Chapel Cemetery or Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
