Mr. Herman Rondal Rose was born in Goody, KY. on May 16, 1953, to the late Heston Bud Rose, Mary Ellen Rose and Susie Farley Meade. He departed this life on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his residence, having attained the age of seventy-one years and twenty-four days.
Herman was a retired coal miner, member of the UMWA, and a Native American Cherokee Indian. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Adam Rose; four brothers: Elbert Heston Rose, George Robert Rose, Wayne Meade, and Joseph Meade; and one sister: Nyoka Stanley Baker.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Faye Rose of Greensburg, KY; his children, Paul and Samatha Daniel Rose of Somerset, KY, Jody and Dennis Greer of Somerset, KY, Brandon and Jordan Garner of Albany, KY, Isaac and Jaelyn Garner of Greensburg, KY, Jennifer and Nathan Anderson of Byrdstown, TN, and Nicole and Jonathan Jones of Russell Springs, KY; one sister, Vivian Sue Rose of Canada, KY; twenty one grandchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services for Herman Rondal Rose will be conducted Saturday, June 15, 2024, 1 PM at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Belfry, KY. with Stevie White and Thomas Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Garden Cemetery, Canada, KY,
Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, from 6 – 9 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Belfry, KY.
