Greensburg Woman Escapes Green County Transportation Vehicle, Arrested By Campbellsville Police

On Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 12:57 p.m., Campbellsville Police received a call from Campbellsville-Taylor Dispatch that an inmate had escaped from a Green County Transportation Officer at the intersection of Broadway and South Columbia Avenue.

A Campbellsville Police Department detective was in the area and saw the female inmate running from the scene.

32-year old Alisha Posey of Greensburg had gotten out of the Green County Transportation vehicle while it was stopped at the stop light, but was immediately taken into custody without incident and was transported and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.

Campbellsville Police charged Ms. Posey with Escape 2nd degree.
