CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University will host four commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10.
All ceremonies are in the Powell Athletic Center, 203 University Drive, Campbellsville.
There are two ceremonies on Friday and two ceremonies on Saturday.
The first ceremony on Friday, which will begin at 1 p.m., will be for master’s and doctoral degrees for non-Graduate Business Programs. The second ceremony on Friday, which will begin at 3 p.m., will be for Graduate Business Program degrees.
The first ceremony on Saturday, which will begin at 9 a.m., will be for all Bachelor of Science degrees, with the second ceremony at 12 p.m. for Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and all associate degrees.
In total, 1,776 graduates have applied to graduate at the May ceremonies. Of that, 12 are for doctorate degrees, 1,416 are for master’s degrees, 322 are for bachelor’s degrees and 26 are for associate’s degrees.
The doors will open for public seating one hour prior to each ceremony’s start time. Tickets are not required to attend the graduation ceremonies. All seating for family and friends is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will only be reserved seating for the graduating students.
Dr. Ryan Coffey will deliver the commencement address at both ceremonies on Saturday, May 10. Coffey, senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Somerset, Ky., serves as a member of the Campbellsville University Board of Trustees. He is a two-time Campbellsville University graduate, with a Bachelor of Science in Educational Ministry (2005) and a Master of Theology (2013).
Since becoming the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Somerset in April 2021, the church has experienced a new era of significant growth and influence. The church has witnessed nearly 600 baptisms in four years and experienced record giving, attendance, and historic mission and discipleship participation.
