Parade Rules
DO NOT THROW CANDY, PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS OR OTHER OBJECTS
Items can be HANDED OUT to spectators by individuals WALKING alongside your entry
Walkers must remain alongside their parade entry (not walking ahead or falling behind) at all times.
Each entry must assure that they have enough manpower to accommodate these rules.
DO NOT HAND OUT BOTTLES OF WATER (This process slows down the movement of participants)
DO NOT STOP for any reason other than an emergency (keep the parade moving)
Be courteous to other participants and aware of your surroundings (watch for children, other vehicles, etc.)
No wheelies or spinning of tires by motorcycles, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, or ATVs.
REFRAIN FROM SOUNDING SIRENS AND HORNS WHILE IN BETWEEN BUILDINGS ON MAIN STREET: Excessive use of sirens and air horns are discouraged out of interest for the welfare of our parade spectators
AutoSmart Float Contest
Win up to $500 in the AutoSmart Float Contest at the Taylor Regional Hospital Fourth of July Parade! Local businesses, school, civic and church groups are encouraged to enter your best patriotic entry. First Place is $500. Second Place receives $300. Third Place gets S200. There is no entry fee and no pre-registration. Simply report to the Campbellsville Elementary School at the comer of Roberts Road and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. by 8:00 a.m. Tuesday July 4th.
