Buster Williams, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Roy Williams Jr. and Dorothy Dudgeon Williams, was born February 27, 1954, in Campbellsville. He departed this life August 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 72 years of age.
He retired from Cox Interior after working there for over 30 years. He was a member of the Green River Bass Club. He enjoyed fishing and golfing in his spare time. He was an avid UK fan and also enjoyed Nascar. But, he loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids the most.
Survivors include his daughters: Julie Davis (Adrian) of Greensburg and Cheryl Deason (John) of Campbellsville. His brothers and sister: Darrell Williams (Charlotte), Michael Williams, and Debbie Claycomb. His grandchildren: Logan Williams (Brittany), Alyssa Davis, Destiny Boils (Keidlan), Adam Davis (Katie), Gage Mills, Laci Deason, and Sadie Davis. His great grandchildren: Walker Williams, Layne Boils, Aaron Davis, Blair Boils, Waylon Williams, and Wyatt Williams. He also survived by a special companion, Renee O’Banion and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation: Saturday, August 8, 2026, 11:00am – 2:00pm at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
