On Friday, May 1st, 2026, Adair County Sheriff Gary Roy responded to Bird Road on a suspicious male complaint.
Sheriff Roy was able to locate the male, laying beside a driveway on Bird Road.
Lucas Parnell, age 37, of Columbia, was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree Methamphetamine.
