Sheriff’s Office Arrests Adair County Man On Multiple Warrants, Felony Drug Charges On Grady Loop

On Friday, April 26th, 2024 at 5:26 p.m., Adair County Deputy Sheriff Josh Durbin and Deputy Emily Wall were attempting warrant service on Grady Loop, in the limits of Columbia, after  Sheriff Brockman received information that Chris Corbin, 39, had been hiding at an address.  

Upon deputies arrival they observed Corbin, he then ran into the house. 

Deputy Durbin and Deputy Wall followed him into the house, where he was apprehended in the attic area.

During the arrest incident, suspected methamphetamine was also located.

Christopher Matt Corbin was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on Possession of a Controlled Substance (1st degree Methamphetamine) and 5 Outstanding Warrants of Arrest for Adair District and Circuit Courts.

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation.
