Kentucky State Police Search Warrant Leads To Marion County Drug Trafficking Arrest

LEBANON, Ky. (December 30, 2023) – On the afternoon of December 28, 2023, Kentucky State Police Troopers executed a search warrant at a residence on Three Pines Road near the Bradfordsville community of Marion County.

During the investigation of a fatal accident, Troopers gathered information leading to them obtaining a search warrant for a residence located on Three Pines Road in Marion County.  KSP Troopers and Officers from the Campbellsville Probation and Parole Office executed the search warrant on the residence.  Timothy Bright, age 47 of Bradfordsville, resided at the residence.  The search of the residence produced approximately 3 ½ ounces of suspected Cocaine, a large amount of marijuana, and prescription medication pills.  Also located during the search was a large sum of cash, multiple firearms, and drug paraphernalia. 

Timothy Bright was arrested and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.  Mr. Bright was charged with the following:

Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Cocaine

Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, Opiates

Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree, Drug Unspecified

Trafficking in Marijuana

Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The investigation is ongoing by Trooper A.J. Mattingly and Senior Trooper Weston Sullivan.  They were assisted at the scene by other KSP Troopers and the Office of Probation and Parole.  Additional charges are expected to be forthcoming.
