Pat made a profession of faith and was baptized at Liletown Methodist Church on October 14, 1962.

She united in marriage to Randall Sutton on August 2, 1975 in Ringgold, Georgia. Randall passed away on January 24, 2025.

She is survived by a sister Betty Allison of Greensburg. Pat is also survived by a niece Katy Ingram and her husband Don of Greensburg; a nephew Trevor Wright and his fiance Natalie Rothman of Hart County; a great niece Allie Ingram Deaton and her husband Kelley of Bardstown; and a great nephew John Ingram of Louisville. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Patsy Wright and her husband Hubert of Green County and her mother-in-law Lucy Sutton of Greensburg. Billie Bob, her fur baby also survives.

Besides Randall and her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ken Allison.

Pat graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1973 with an RN nursing degree. She worked at hospitals and nursing facilities in Bowling Green, Campbellsville, and Greensburg. In 1975 she became Director of Nurses at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg, a position she held for 36 years until her retirement. In her early forties, Pat returned to WKU and received a BS degree in gerontology and psychology.

Pat loved nursing and was, by many accounts, a fantastic nurse. But for Randall and Pat, their farm atop Buckner Hill was their true calling. Together they raised cattle, grew abundant gardens, and simply loved the earth. It was hard but fulfilling work and meant so much to Pat and Randall. Their life on the hill was a happy and good one.
