COLUMBIA, KY — The Adair County community is coming together on Saturday, May 3rd, to host a special Benefit Event at the Adair County Fairgrounds in support of the families of David King Jr. and Skyler Huckaby.
The event, which kicks off at 8:00 a.m., will feature a variety of fundraising activities including a yard sale, bake sale, and a silent auction with donated items from local businesses. Organizers are also working to secure live entertainment for the day.
Donations are being accepted ahead of the event, with requests for new or gently used items, gift cards, baked goods, and monetary contributions. An account has also been set up through the Bank of Columbia for those wishing to donate directly.
All proceeds from the day will go toward helping the families with funeral expenses, with organizers promising full transparency on the distribution of funds.
The community is encouraged to come out, show their support, and help make a difference for two families during a very difficult time.
