Sara Francis Dehoney Noe of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ewell Thomas Dehoney and Mary Francis Thompson Dehoney, was born on Tuesday, February 22, 1938 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 88 years, 4 months, and 9 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ladies Chapel Methodist Church. She had previously worked as a store clerk at the old Gate gas station and convenience store. Sara loved spending time with her family and watching reruns of Gunsmoke every day.
She was united in marriage to Harold J. “Jackie” Noe on December 13, 1958, who preceded her in death on February 15, 2004.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Kent and Karen Noe of Greensburg, Brad Noe of Illinois; four grandchildren: Rhiannon and Quinn Lowe of Greensburg, Josh Noe of Louisville, Kelli Noe of Greensburg, Brandon Noe of Mount Washington; three great-grandchildren: Luxy, Lemmy, and Creek; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Pat and Charles Paxton of North Carolina, Sandy and Danny Allgeier of Louisville, Delia Durrett of Summersville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Tommy Dehoney.
The family of Sara Noe would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Brandon Frank and Dr. Sean Desimone for their wonderful care while she was at Taylor Regional Hospital. They went above and beyond to treat us with kindness and respect in the last couple of days and made everything go smoothly.

The funeral service for Sara Noe will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, July 5, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bennett Cemetery. Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis officiating.
Visitation is requested after 11 A.M., Central Time, Sunday at the funeral home until time of the service.
