Mary Ann Turpin, of Liberty, (Clementsville Community) the daughter of the late Avery and Geraldine (Wethington) Hicks, was born December 26, 1965 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 60 years of age.
She enjoyed quilting and gardening and loved animals and flowers and was of the Catholic Faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother: Avery Hicks, Jr.
Survivors include her husband: John Turpin of Liberty; two children: Stacy Barnett of Campbellsville and Chris Cochran of Casey County.
Also two sisters: Susan Ledford and husband Tony of Liberty and Sandy Acker of Michigan.
Two grandchildren: Colton Bright and Austin Barnett and a host of other relatives and friends.
To honor the request of Mary Ann, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
