The Kentucky Association of School Business Officials (KASBO) announces the election of Zachary Leftwich to the board of directors for the state association.
These esteemed professionals in school finance bring a wealth of experience and dedication to the association, furthering KASBO’s mission to promote excellence in school business management. The board is composed of school finance professionals from across the Commonwealth who help guide the organization’s efforts to provide high-quality professional development and resources to its more than 1,550 members.
Leftwich has served as Chief Financial Officer of Green County Schools for the past eight years. Leftwich oversees the district’s financial operations and works closely with district leadership and members of Green County Board of Education to ensure transparency and responsible stewardship of public resources, while supporting high-quality educational opportunities for students.
A lifelong Green Countian, he is a 2012 graduate of Green County High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with an Accounting Emphasis from Campbellsville University.
As a member of the KASBO Board of Directors, Leftwich will help provide policy and strategic guidance for the association’s initiatives, including professional development, training, and resources that support school finance staff across Kentucky’s 171 school districts.
